This is a great museum that creates a positive educational experience for visiting students. I regularly bring my students here for field trips.
This tour is geared specifically for our elder population and is for groups of 10 or more people. We will accomodate your needs to enhance your experience at the MAAIM. Our guided "Winter of Our Lives" tour includes a tour of the Museum along with a seated presentation about our outdoor exhibits and the Gallery of Nations.
This unique program is aimed at groups looking for educational presentations during your business's lunch hour or as an option for diversity training. This program offers a 20-30 minute PowerPoint lecture and presentation on our cultural center and museum, and a chance to see some of the items we have on display with our mobile hands on collection. Groups can bring their own lunches, or have a catered lunch here. Following the PowerPoint lecture and presentation, participants can take a guided tour of the museum. With this program, you can turn your lunch hour or monthly meeting into a unforgettable educational experience.
All tours must be booked at least two weeks in advance.
This program is for groups of 10 or more people and are guided by a tour docent. A tour at the Mid-America All-Indian Museum includes the Heritage Pole, Gallery of Nations, Outdoor Learning Center, Keeper of the Plains Plaza, and Museum, and includes a child's craft.
